Namur Congrès is your ideal partner for meetings in a green environment away from and yet near to 3 airports, Brussels and a network of motorways to take you to the 4 points of the compass.
We proudly present 3 of our important partners who contribute heavily to making the Province of Namur a destination that is much in demand for its central location and its superb nature.

1. Hotel Mercure – Dinant
First there is Dinant, a picture-postcard town on the river Meuse, renowned for its most famous ancestor Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone...even President Clinton stopped over to pay homage! Then there is the Hotel Mercure: entirely redesigned in 2005 in accordance with a new concept which sets off the traces
of the past against a more restrained modern style. New bedrooms, an all-glass restaurant with stunning views and excellent cuisine, a cozy new bar, a great selection of meeting rooms catering for up to 500 people and an indoor swimming pool make this 91 bedroom hotel the ideal choice for a residential seminar in the green. The hotel is situated outside the small town in a quiet environment , a place designed for brainstorming sessions and concentrated meetings but also teambuilding and nature related activities.

2. Palais des Congrès - Namur
As of January 2009 Artexis, who already manage Namur Expo, now also have been entrusted by the town
of Namur with the management of the ‘Bourse de Commerce’ conference centre, known under the name Namur Palais des Congrès. The Palais offers a modern and highly efficient infrastructure in a magnificent setting in the heart of the town. A 300-seat amphitheatre, an auditorium for up to 100 people and a number of conference rooms equipped with the latest technology are all available for conferences, meetings and seminars. The original building was constructed in 1935 on the ashes of the old Grand Place area destroyed in 1914 and today offers a fascinating mix of old and ultramodern which makes the Palais des Congrès into a unique venue in the heart of the city! 3. Arsenal – Namur
The arsenal is a classified monument that is unique in Europe. It was constructed in 1692 by Vauban, the famous military architect of Louis XIV, as a weapons depot and served in different capacities over the centuries. In 1977 the University acquired and restored the building to make it in a meeting place between the University and the outside world. The Arsenal has 9 different meeting rooms on offer over 3 levels for a total of 2000 m² and, very handy in the centre of town, has its own private parking. The building has kept the authenticity of the original construction but has many contemporary features that make it a unique congress venue in the heart of the lively city of Namur.
